Why no heated gear?
*Well, I looked into it, and couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money($500+)on a kit. I am pretty warm blooded and don't mind riding on the edge of hypothermia. Most guys who wear heated gear are older(50+)and can afford it. I might one day be 50 and have money for nice things, but now I am happy with what I have.
